The shortest day of the year.

Illustration of child throwing a snowball

Yesterday morning, as I walked my daughters to school, I asked them “Why do we celebrate the winter solstice?”

One said, "Because it’s the shortest day of the year, and the days will start getting longer.”

Then I asked, “So why do we celebrate the summer solstice?”

The other said, “Because the day is so long, and the night is so short.”

And so, we wish you a happy and bright holiday season! Looking forward to working with you in 2023.

May your hearts be bright,
