We may need to set up some custom records for your domain. What you need to know.

Recently, it's come to our attention that gmail has started rejecting emails sent without anti-spoofing or authentication-signage set from our servers. If you have found that to be the case in the past month, we can fix that, but we need to know a few things about how you check your email.

First we need to know that you are using our mail server for your email accounts. This applies only to email accounts that end in your domain name, not gmail accounts or email addresses that end in something other than your domain name. One quick way to tell is by going to https://mxtoolbox.com and entering your domain name. If qs4450.pair.com is listed, then we are storing your email on our server, and we can apply the records to your domain to fix the issue.

Email us at office@slabmedia.com and let us know all the methods by which you check your email. If you use a mail program like Mac Mail, or Outlook to check your email, we can easily set up anti-spoofing records (SPF) for the domain, and authentication verification records (DKIM) so that gmail will trust your outgoing email.

As we all know, spam is a big problem, and Google is reacting by stopping unverified emails. This is a good thing with some short term pain, as we adjust to their increased security. Please bear with us while we help you fix this issue.

As a reminder, these are the correct settings for your mail at your domain if you are using Slabmedia for your inbox mail. This does not apply if you are using Google Workspace or anther mail server like Microsoft Exchange.
